Yali Wines took action in this matter since the Maipo and Yali wetlands are very important to Chile and are very close to where our vines are planted in the Coastal Maipo area.
That’s why Yali Wines signed a collaborative long-term alliance with COSMOS FOUNDATION focused on a Bird Conservation Project with the objective of increasing the reproductive success of resident birds and monitoring populations of Pilpilen in the Maipo-Yali system.
By buying a bottle of Yali you are helping to finance this Conservation Program specifically with:
• Climate Change Mitigation: Purchase of part of the instruments and analysis
of samples to carry out the actions described.
• Restoration of dunes: Preparation and implementation of the project.
• Bird conservation: Purchase of marking instruments, binoculars, etc.
• Education on Wetlands: The budget will finance eight field trips per year, with a special Tutor for a class of 40 students from schools in the area and training actions for the teaching staff of each establishment.
Community Action Programme: The budget will finance community involvement activities.

2. Respect the birds, plants, and any organism that is part of the habitat. ...
3. In the dunes and the vegetation of the wetland, many birds and other animals have their nests so be careful and try not to walk or drive in the dunes.
4. Visit them and make more people know about wetlands, mainly children and young people.
5. Recognise and disseminate the importance of the environmental and ecosystem benefits and services that wetlands provide to the district, the territory, the community, and the planet.
